Chad Langille obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Nevada – Reno. He began his career in the sciences at a California-based mining operation, where he was responsible for the quality analysis of rare earth metals, minerals, and purified Chlor-Alkali waste stream chemical byproducts. He quickly realized that his passion revolved around the environmental impact of this mining operation and the beneficial reuse of chemical and green energy potential. In order to better grasp the relationship between sustainability and the built and natural environment, he accepted a role as the Lead Organic Chemist at a Las Vegas-based analytical laboratory. Here, he processed, analyzed, and interpreted results from a variety of chemical, environmental, and microbiological samples. With this experience, Mr. Langille understood the importance of providing accurate results and efficient solutions to clients’ problems. He became LEED and Green Globes certified shortly thereafter and formed Langille Environmental to confront the most demanding environmental and engineering issues contributing to climate change and the planet's well-being.
